Why it works as a closing gift

A gift tied to the home itself.

The best closing gifts feel personal without adding more work to your closing week. A portrait turns the property your client just bought into something they can keep, display, and remember.

01

Personal from the first glance.

Your client recognizes their own home immediately. It feels specific to their closing rather than like a gift that could have gone to anyone.

02

Made to stay in the home.

A framed portrait can become part of the home itself, keeping the closing connected to the place long after moving day.

03

It keeps you remembered.

A portrait on the wall can become a natural conversation piece when friends and family visit, keeping the home purchase and the agent who helped make it happen part of the story.

04

Simple enough to use again.

Choose a package, upload a property photo, add the personalization, and approve the proof before anything goes to print.

Cold Press Fine Art Paper

The textured cold-press surface gives watercolor washes and architectural linework a natural, dimensional finish.

02
Solid wood framing

Framed portraits use a substantial wood profile in Natural Oak or Matte Black for a clean, lasting presentation.

Classic off-white matting

A soft off-white mat gives the artwork breathing room: 2 inches on 8 × 10 and 11 × 14 framed portraits, and 3 inches on the 16 × 20 Statement.

Clear acrylic glazing

Acrylic glazing protects the artwork while keeping the presentation bright, crisp, and ready for display.

Finished backing and hanging hardware

Kraft backing and installed hanging wire mean the framed portrait arrives finished from the back and ready to hang.

Gallery Canvas

A modern alternative, finished just as intentionally.

The 16 × 20 canvas uses a 1.25-inch stretched profile with mirror-wrapped edges and an installed sawtooth hanger for a clean, ready-to-display presentation.

Material imagery is representative and is used to show the specified construction and finish of the collection.

Simple from photo to finished gift

Four steps, with your approval built in.

You choose the presentation and send us the property photo. We create the artwork, send you a digital proof, and only move into production after you approve it.

1

Choose the portrait

Select the size, presentation, artwork style, and frame color that fit the closing.

2

Upload the home photo

Send a clear exterior photo and add any personalization you want included with the gift.

3

Review your proof

We send the finished artwork digitally so you can check the architecture, color, crop, and inscription before anything is printed.

4

Approve production

Once you approve the proof, we produce the finished framed portrait or canvas and prepare it for delivery.

Frequently asked questions

A few things to know before you order.

What kind of photo works best?

A clear exterior photo that shows the front of the home works best. Daylight and minimal obstruction help, but a professional photograph is not required.

Can I use a listing photo?

Yes, as long as you have permission to use it. If the listing photographer retains the copyright, use your own photo or get permission first.

What do I need to choose?

Choose the portrait size and presentation, watercolor or pen and ink, and a frame color when applicable. We handle the paper, matting, and production details.

What can I personalize?

You can add a family name or portrait title, an optional established year, and a gift message for the recipient. The gift message is included with the finished portrait on an enclosed 4 × 6 miniature portrait card printed on cold-press paper.

Is a miniature portrait card included?

Yes. Every House Portrait includes a 4 × 6 miniature print of the finished portrait on cold-press paper. Your gift message is included on the card, which accompanies the full-size framed portrait or canvas as a separate presentation piece.

What portrait styles are available?

Choose watercolor for a softer, expressive finish or pen and ink for a more detailed architectural look. Both are created from the property photo and reviewed in your digital proof.

Is canvas available?

Yes. The 16 × 20 Gallery Canvas offers a clean, modern presentation without a traditional mat and frame.

Will I see the portrait before it is printed?

Yes. We send a digital proof for your approval before anything goes into production. If a reasonable refinement is needed, you can request it before approving the artwork.
